While his scope is national, Roberts also happens to live in Seattle, where he has turned his reporter’s eye on our Mayoral race, and his assessment of Harrell is not flattering. He refers to Harrell as “perpetually disappointing,” and elsewhere an “epic disappointment.” I think I most enjoyed when he said that Harrell “sounds like a parody–has our mayor . . . ever met a youth?” in response to a particular comment Harrell made abut tech leaders mentoring kids on golf courses.
